Duaklir® Genuair®▼ is indicated as a maintenance bronchodilator treatment to relieve symptoms in adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)1.

Duaklir® Genuair® is a dry powder inhaler combining the long-acting antimuscarinic agent (LAMA) aclidinium and the long-acting beta agonist (LABA) formoterol. Each delivered dose contains the equivalent of 340 µg of aclidinium and 11.8 µg of formoterol fumarate dihydrate1

Dosing and Administration1

The recommended dose is one inhalation of Duaklir® Genuair® twice daily

One inhalation twice-daily
One inhalation twice-daily


No dose adjustments are required in elderly patients or patients with renal or hepatic impairment1

How to use the Genuair® inhaler

The Duaklir® Genuair® inhaler has a simple feedback mechanism to ensure correct inhalation, the colour changes from green to red1. In one study 97% (140/144) of inhalations with Genuair® inhaler were successful across 48 patients with moderate to severe COPD2.

*Successful inhalation was defined as an inhalation sufficient to activate the inhaler trigger and produce a colour change from green to red in the control window2

A dose indicator shows approximately how many doses are left in the inhaler to the nearest ten doses. When nearly empty, a red band is displayed, indicating that a replacement inhaler should be obtained1
