Biography

Dr Yahya Al-Najjar

Dr Al-Najjar graduated from the University of Manchester. He trained in Cardiology in the North West region. He has a special interest in acute cardiovascular care and has been involved in multiple projects to improve the care of patients presenting to hospital with cardiac conditions. He was heavily involved in redesigning the model of care for cardiac patients presenting to Blackpool Victoria Hospital resulting in a reduction in length of stay. He is an enthusiastic teacher and a keen supporter of the use of simulation suites to provide interactive teaching to medical students and junior doctors. His specialist interests include complex coronary intervention, and the management of coronary artery disease and heart failure. Hobbies include playing tennis and soccer.
