A consultant pharmacist in cardiology and cardiovascular research. He leads several innovative cardiology medicines optimisation services across secondary and primary care in Leeds. Well published, research grants holder, principal investigator and co-investigator of several trials with specific interest in medicine adherence. UK Clinical Pharmacy Association, Cardiology Group, committee member. Science committee member at the European Society of Cardiology-Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions. Member of NICE Chronic Heart Failure Guideline Committee. Earned multiple recognitions and awards for innovation and excellence in patient care. Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds and Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Bradford.
